CASE STUDY OF FEVER WITH VOMITINGS SINCE 5DAYS.
AMC BED ADMISSION. A 38 year old female patient came to the causality with complaints of FEVER since 5 days. VOMITINGS since 5 days. Patient was apparently asymptomatic 5 days back when she developed FEVER with chills and is associated with cold, mild productive cough(white sputum) and headache. The fever was more in the evening and subsides in the morning and subsides for a few hours after taking medication. The fever was also associated with non-projectile VOMITINGS of around 5 per day. Patient also complaints of frequent BELCHING round the day. Generalized weakness - present. The patient’s mother died 14 days ago, that lead to her loss of appetite. No c/o chest pain, sob, palpitations. No c/o involuntary movements. PAST HISTORY- Not a k/c/o HTN, TB, DM, EPILEPSY, ASTHMA.
